A Bit About Hainesport, NJ
Hainesport Township is a small area covering not quite seven miles of land and is located in Burlington County New Jersey. The Hainesport area is quite small, with a population of just 4,126 according to the United States 2000 Census. Hainesport was named after the settler that is believed to have first come to the area, Barclay Haines. While Hainesport is small in size, it is nestled right on the Rancoas Creek providing beautiful views to its residents and all those that happen to pass through the area.
Hainesport isn´t just your typically small town with nothing around it, though. In fact, Hainesport doesn´t feel quite as small as it really is because it borders the townships of Westampton, Mount Laurel, Lumberton, and Mount Holly. The closeness between these townships provides everything one may need while providing the small town atmosphere that so many of us look for. Hainesport is home to many business professionals and families alike and welcomes everyone with open arms. The 2000 Census reports that in Hainesport there are 1,477 households and 35% of those have children and 67.5% of the residents are married couples living together.
The median income for a household in Hainesport is more than the national average at $66,417 and for families the median income is $72,005 meaning income and lifestyle in Hainesport is better than average. The median age is 38 years in Hainesport, and for every 100 females there are 95.7 males.
