I’ve watched Lord of the Rings and I never thought a house like this really existed but sure enough here it is:
The low impact woodland home was built in Wales by a family who wanted a low cost and enviornment friendly residence. The family home was designed and built by them using all natural materials and, supposedly, only a few tools which included a chainsaw, hammer, and 1 inch chisel. There are plans to build a number of these woodland homes, an eco-village, in the near future. If anybody wishes to learn how to build an organic house and be your own organic architect, the owner has extended an invite for his next project to anyone wishing to join in.
