Gloucester County 2007 Year Over Year Real Estate Activity

The number of homes sold within Gloucester County did decline in 2007, however the county overall experienced an increase in median sales price.  The number of listings increased compared to 2006, and the number of days on the market for sold properties increased as well.

2007 Gloucester County Housing Market Activity as per Trend MLS:

Number of Properties Sold: 3,206

Median Sold Price:  $224,000

Median Days on Market: 57

Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price:  94.28%

2006 Gloucester County Housing Market Activity as per Trend MLS:

Number of Properties Sold: 3,670

Median Sold Price:  $217,000

Median Days on Market: 45

Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price:  95.93%

 

2007 vs 2006 Gloucester County Single Family and Condo Sales Breakdown:

2007 Single Family Sales:

  • Number of Units Sold: 2,890
  • Median Sold Price:  $233,500
  • Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price: 94%

2006 Single Family Sales:

  • Number of Units Sold: 3,289
  • Median Sold Price:  $227,450
  • Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price: 95%

 

2007 Condominium Sales:

  • Number of Units Sold: 316
  • Median Sold Price:  $166,000
  • Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price: 95%

2006 Condominium Sales:

  • Number of Units Sold: 381
  • Median Sold Price:  $168,000
  • Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price: 97%

The single family homes median sales price in Gloucester County increased assisting the county overall statistics.  The condo market, however, experienced a decline in median sales price.

    Why is it so difficult to find the names and locations of 55 and over communities is South Jersey? I want to visit all closest to Cumberland County. Please assist.
