Camden County experienced a slow down in housing sales in 2007 compared to the 2006 year end results.  The median sales price slightly increased for the county overall but the increase was minimal.  A significant increase in the median sales price was seen within the condo market.  The number of listings and the number of days on the market for sold properties also increased.

Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price:  94.38%

2006 Camden County Real Estate Market Activity as per Trend MLS:

Number of Properties Sold: 6,763

Median Sold Price:  $194,000

Median Days on Market: 41

Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price:  95.83%

  • Number of Units Sold: 5,314
  • Median Sold Price:  $201,500
  • Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price: 94%

2006 Single Family Sales:

  • Median Sold Price:  $200,000
  • Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price: 95%

 

2007 Condominium Sales:

  • Number of Units Sold: 603
  • Median Sold Price:  $159,900
  • Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price: 94%

2006 Condominium Sales:

  • Number of Units Sold: 698
  • Median Sold Price:  $147,500
  • Average Sold Price received from Original Listing Price: 95%

The number of properties sold declined in the year over year comparison for Camden County.  The single family homes median sales price only saw a marginal increase in sales price while condominiums experienced a much greater increase in the median sales price.
