There’s always been some confusion as to how Cherry Hill, NJ was named. Many residents in Cherry Hill believe the town was named after the Cherry Hill Mall. Cherry Hill was originally named Delaware Township. It was renamed Cherry Hill on Nov. 7, 1961.

Burlington County Jan 2006 Market Review
The trend we saw in the 4th quarter of 2005 has continued into January 2006. Inventory (homes listed) increased and sales decreased in Burlington County this month. Here are the figures for Jan 2005 and Jan 2006 as stated in Trend MLS.
Burlington Median Sales Price 2005
The median sales price for single family homes in Burlington City, NJ increase by 19.7% in 2005. Home sales also increased, showing a 22% increase over the market activity in 2004.

Voorhees Median Sales Price 2005
In 2005 the median sales price for Voorhees single family homes increased by 11.5%. The median sales price for condos in Voorhees increase by 24.3%. The single family home sales slightly decrease in 2005 while the condo sales slightly increased.
