March 2009 Update:Â Corzine’s Budget Proposal Cuts Rebates
The deadline for filing your New Jersey Homestead Rebate, previously known as the Fair Rebate Program, has been extended to October 31, 2007. Home owners and tenants that are eligible may file to receive their homestead rebate.
 The press release announcing the extension was made on July 30, 2007 along with the announcement of the the first batch of checks to be mailed to 1.2 million households in New Jersey. For those seeking additional information you can read the homestead rebate Q&A which provides eligibility information.  The New Jersey Department of Taxation has also included additional information on their homestead rebate online filing page.Â

hello about my home stead rebate i didnt receive it yet and i see you have a site that said they went out in middle of september please send a e mail if you choose and if my check has gone out im 47 years old and in a wheel chair 25 years in about a week thank you
I already summited the 2006 tax rebate application as of 10/2007,but I did not get the rebate yet.please,let me know my status of application.This is a 3rd time question.please…

Hello my hisband and I filled out the 2006 Homestead Rebate and sent it in on 10/2007. I have yet to recevie my rebate. Please contact me through e-mail and such. I’m sorry to be a bother if you cannot answer my question. Goodbye and have a nice day.

We have not yet received our 2006 Homestead Rebate for our home 19 madaline drive, edison, nj. We no longer own the home. My social security number is 150-54-3148. Please let me know what happened to this. Thank you, denise gaspar
